Chicken Breast Pizza


Ingredients

1 glass of pizza sauce
4 chicken breast fillets
1 tsp olive oil
 

1 teaspoon oregano
250g Mozzarella cheese
50g thickly sliced pepperoni

Method

First preheat the oven to 200° degrees. Let the pizza sauce simmer at low heat for about 20 minutes.

During this time the chicken breast fillets must be beaten flat one after the other in a plastic bag with a meat hammer and then seasoned with oregano.

Heat the olive oil at medium heat in a coated pan and fry the chicken breast fillets on both sides for about 1-2 minutes each.  

Then place the golden-brown fillets next to each other in a ceramic casserole dish.

Cut the mozzarella cheese into slices of equal size.

Then place tomato sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni slices on the top of each fillet one after the other.

The dish should then be baked in the oven for about 25-30 minutes until the cheese has melted and the pepperoni slices are lightly browned.

Serve the finished chicken breast pizza hot.
