Description

This practical Staub cocotte lets you succeed with a host of delicious dishes. Dishes of this kind are perfect for slow cooking, but can naturally also be used for frying or boiling. They are made of cast iron, which retains heat for longer, thereby helping to save electricity. Heat is conducted evenly with cast iron so that even food around the rim of the pot is sufficiently cooked. The practical casserole dish features black enamel on the inside, allowing it to slow cook perfectly, at the same time being very durable and easy to clean.

The cocotte has a diameter of 23 cm and a depth of approx. 14 cm including the lid; it holds 2.35 litres and can be used on all types of cooker, including induction hobs. Cocottes are naturally also ideal for placing in the oven, with their two handles making them practical to use.
