In the round cocotte from Staub, cooking is a whole lot of fun! Its cheerful cherry colour brings life to the kitchen, creating the optimal conditions for new creations. Staub’s cocottes are primarily suited for braising since they are made out of enamelled cast iron. A material which evenly distributes heat very well and slowly spreads it to meat and vegetables, which are gently cooked and can develop their full flavour while preserving the vitamins and nutrients. This makes dishes prepared in a cocotte not only extremely flavourful but also very healthy.

The cocotte from the La Cocotte series is 15 cm in height with the lid and has a diameter of 18 cm. It can hold up to 1.7 litres and can be used on every type of cooker, including an induction hob. Furthermore, it is easy to handle thanks to both handles and can gladly be placed on the table after cooking food. Upon lifting the lid, the cherry red exterior and the black matt enamel on the inside reveal a spectacular contrast that will dazzle your guests. You can serve ratatouille and other scrumptious braised dishes in style with this cocotte.
